We can’t look back at 2021 without mentioning how Wall Street Bets, a group of everyday people on social media decided to stick together to take on some of the big hedge fund managers in the game by buying and driving up the value of the Gamestop shares in pure defiance of the hedgefund managers who had put a lot of money in shorting that stock, making them loose millions.
